The Town of Aurora, in collaboration with Chabad Aurora, is excited to announce this year's Menorah Lighting Ceremony. The community is invited to join in the celebration of the Festival of Light by lighting the 5th candle of the menorah. This festive event will include traditional foods, a downtown walk, and a spectacular fire performance.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 29, 2024. It begins at 4 p.m. with a Downtown Village Walk starting at the Aurora Public Library, followed by skating in the Outdoor Square. At 5 p.m., the ceremony will commence, featuring a fire performance and traditional foods. The location for the Menorah Lighting Ceremony is at Aurora Town Square at 50 Victoria Street.

For over a decade, the Town and Chabad Aurora have been inviting the community to celebrate the Festival of Light, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
