Investigators with York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance in identifying several suspects involved in a break, enter and theft at a jewelry store in the City of Vaughan.
On Monday, April 18, 2022, police attended a jewelry store located in the area of Weston Road and Highway 7 for a report of a break-in and theft of a number of diamonds.
After reviewing video surveillance, investigators determined that four to five male suspects attended the store at approximately 8:50 p.m., on Saturday, April 16, 2022. The suspects gained access to the roof of the building and rappelled down inside of the unit. They then cut a hole into a safe and stole a number of diamonds.
Investigators are looking for witnesses and anyone who can identify the suspects. Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have dashboard footage from the area of Weston Road, between Highway 7 and Langstaff Road, from 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, to 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
