Canada’s Wonderland hiring 4,000, set to open for season May 3

Cedar Fair anticipates filling the majority of roles during hiring efforts across all parks in the U.S. and Canada Feb. 17 to 24

In preparation for opening day May 3, Canada’s Wonderland has launched its 2024 recruitment campaign with plans to hire approximately 4,000 seasonal associates across all departments.

Available positions are posted on the Canada’s Wonderland job site and applications are now being accepted, the park said in a news release.

“We’re proud to offer a fun and rewarding place to work,” said Phil Liggett, general manager.

“Whether it be for a summer job, a position to kick-start a career or an enjoyable part-time placement after retirement, we have something for everyone. We offer competitive wages, amazing perks and an opportunity to make lifelong friends and develop essential leadership skills.”

The park says positions will be available across all departments, including:

  • Operations
  • Food and beverage
  • Lifeguards
  • Security
  • Guest services and admissions
  • Retail (merchandise and games)
  • Maintenance
  • Park services
  • And many more

The minimum age to work at Canada’s Wonderland is 15. Both seasonal and full-time positions are available.

The hiring blitz at Canada's Wonderland is part of a plan by parent company Cedar Fair Entertainment to hire approximately 35,000 seasonal associates across its network of parks in 2024. Cedar Fair anticipates filling the majority of those roles during hiring efforts across all parks in the U.S. and Canada from Feb. 17 to 24.
