Newmarket’s artisans and creators will put their skills on display for the second annual Newmarket Makers Festival July 20.
The event at NewMakeIt will feature an artisan market, live demonstrations of pottery and blacksmithing and other live entertainment.
“Enjoy a day of fun, live demos, and a market of amazing artisans and makers,” the non-profit said in a news release.
The first rendition of the event ran last year in the parking lot outside NewMakeIt. It featured a variety of vendors and demonstrators, aiming to bring attention to the local artisan community.
The event will also feature food, live music and opportunities to win prizes.
It will run Saturday, July 20 from 1:30 to 8 p.m. at NewMakeIt at 621 Timothy St. You can find more information on the non-profit at newmakeit.com.
