The Town of Aurora is thrilled to announce an exciting international hockey event! We are proud to support the Central York Girls Hockey Association (CYGHA) as they host the National Chinese Women’s Hockey Team for an exhilarating match.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. and join us at the Aurora Community Centre – McAlpine Ford Arena to cheer on our very own CYGHA U22 Panthers as they face off against Team China. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Join us for face painting and a poster-making before the game. This is a fantastic opportunity to witness high-level hockey and support our local athletes.

It’s an amazing opportunity for our high-performance players to compete against some of the best athletes in the world and for our younger athletes to experience hockey at this level. The CYGHA is proud to partner with the Town of Aurora and look forward to showcasing female hockey to the entire community," said Mark Dubeau, President, Central York Girls Hockey Association.
