The Town of Aurora in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (C.M.H.A.) and Aurora Junior A Tigers, is proud to present the Virtual Mental Health in Sport Series - a four-part Lunch & Learn program designed to foster mental wellness in the sports community and beyond.

Open to individuals ages 15 and up, this series provides practical strategies to support mental well-being, improve communication skills and build resilience. Whether you are an athlete, coach, parent or supporter, these expert-led sessions will help you:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of mental health in sport
  • Learn how to support youth through stress and anxiety
  • Improve communication in challenging situations
  • Navigate the impact of social media on well-being


Series Schedule:

  • Part 1: Mental Health 101
    • Dates: Thursday, February 20 & Thursday, March 6, 2025
  • Part 2: Supporting our Youth: Teen Stress & Anxiety
    • Date: Thursday, March 27, 2025
  • Part 3: Adapting to Challenges: Mental Health & Communication
    • Date: Thursday, April 3, 2025
  • Part 4: Social Media & Well-Being
    • Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025

Time: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (via Zoom) – Join during your lunch break!

Cost: $10 for all four sessions
