A York Regional Police officer accused of breach of trust and other offences is facing additional charges.

On Jan. 15, Const. Guangnan (Garry) Sun was charged with 23 counts of unauthorized use of a computer, two counts of breach of trust by a public officer and one count of obstructing justice.

Sun was released from custody on an undertaking with conditions, but he has since breached the conditions of his release, according to a news release.

On Wednesday, he was charged with two counts of failure to comply with an undertaking. A bail hearing was held the same day, and he was released from custody with additional conditions.
