Pair wanted for trying to steal $200 of meat: Crime Stoppers

The incident occurred July 10 at a Loblaws in Richmond Hill

Crime Stoppers Of York Region has a released video of wanted individuals as it seeks assistance from the community in locating them.

Two suspects entered a Loblaws at 301 High Tech Rd., in Richmond Hill on July 10 at 1:30 p.m. before attempting to steal about $200 worth of meat. The suspects fled the store before loss prevention security could arrest them.

The first suspect is described as a male, with brown skin, mid-30s, thin build, facial hair, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black baseball cap, black flip flops, and a navy backpack.

The second suspect is described as a male, with brown skin, mid-30s, medium build, facial hair, wearing a black hoodie, black vest, black shorts, and black shoes.

Crime Stoppers says, if you know the suspects' whereabouts, do not approach them. You can remain anonymous by submitting a tip online or calling 1-800-222-8477. You will never have to identify yourself or testify in court. If the information you provide helps police catch this suspect, you could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
