A motorcyclist has died in a collision with an SUV in Georgina yesterday afternoon.
A 34-year-old man from Georgina was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision at Country Mile Lane and McCowan Road July 21 at about 1:50 p.m., York Regional Police said in a news release.
The driver of the SUV remained on the scene with no injuries, police said.
Roads in the area were closed for the investigation, which is ongoing.
Investigators would like to speak to witnesses who have not yet spoken with police and to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area around the time of the collision.
