A man was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a snow plow in Richmond Hill early today.
A small white hatchback had collided with the plow Jan. 8 at about 1 a.m. near Bayview Avenue and North Lake Road, a York Regional Police news release said.
The driver of the hatchback was transported to a local hospital. However, his condition deteriorated and was he transferred to a trauma centre where he remains in serious condition, police said.
The driver of the snow plow remained at the scene and was not injured.
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, and anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time of the collision, to come forward.
