A 23 year old driver has been transported to hospital with serious injuries after a tractor-trailer rolled over near the Highway 400 ramp at Highway 9 in Newmarket.
The single-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lane, which was closed for the investigation at about 5 p.m. July 4.
“A tractor-trailer rolled over by the ramp of Highway 400 southbound on Highway 9,” said Sgt. Nicola Morris. “No other vehicles are involved. The truck driver was transported to hospital in serious condition.”
Ontario Provincial Police officers from the Aurora detachment responded to the collision. No other vehicles are involved.
Traffic is backed up in the area, police advise.
