A male cyclist received minor injuries in a collision with a minivan this morning in Newmarket near the Magna Centre.
The collision occurred at Mulock Drive and Fernbank Road at 8:10 a.m.
“Two officers were dispatched and were on scene a couple minutes later,” said York Regional Police Const. James Dickson. “Minor injuries to the male cyclist (who was) transported to the hospital as a precaution.”
Further details regarding the age or gender of all the involved parties aren't currently available.
“As the report is not on yet, I have no information on the driver or the cyclist, nor do I have access to the damage sustained by vehicles,” said Dickson.
