Upper Canada announces Taste of Market & Co. Festival, a food festival series with its inaugural event on Thursday, Aug. 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Market & Co.
The evening will feature best-selling, fresh, local items from Market & Co. merchants for $5 or less, complimentary cider, beer and wine sampling, interactive activities for the whole family, live entertainment, giveaways and much more.
Taste of Market & Co. will also feature an appearance by renowned chef and TV personality Matt Dean Pettit. Check him out from 6 to 9 p.m. in Kitchen & Co., a state-of-the-art demo kitchen located inside Market & Co. Chef Matt will be cooking live and sampling his famous Lobster Mac & Cheese from his Craft Seafood Co. line, Matty’s Seafood.

Festival, a lively summer evening event created to entertain and engage with our local community,” said Bri-Ann Stuart, Director & General Manager, Upper Canada. “We have exciting activities and tasty offerings in store from calamari fries to olive oil and balsamic vinegar dessert shooters to fresh Goji lemonade. There is something for everyone!”
Complimentary activations include a make-your-own BBQ dry rub station for the summer grill master, mini-putt and corn hole for the kids and live music. Participating merchants will feature unique, artisanal, tapas-style offerings for $5 or less as well as complimentary beer, cider and wine sampling from Market Brewing Co. and The Wine Shop. Admission to Taste of Market & Co. is free.
