The Town of Newmarket invites residents and members of the public to unite as one and roar on the Toronto Raptors, for all games at Jurassic Commons (Newmarket’s Riverwalk Commons at 200 Doug Duncan Drive) – weather dependent.
Bring a lawn chair and join Raptors fans for a viewing of all games of the NBA championship series with the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors on a large, outdoor screen. Admission is free.
When:
- Game 1 - Thursday, May 30 at 9 p.m.
- Game 2 - Sunday, June 2 at 8 p.m.
- Game 3 - Wednesday, June 5 at 9 p.m.
- Game 4 - Friday, June 7 at 9 p.m.
- Game 5 - Monday, June 10 at 9 p.m. (if needed)
- Game 6 – Thursday, June 13 at 9 p.m. (if needed)
- Game 7 – Sunday, June 16 at 8 p.m. (if needed)

"I encourage all of Newmarket and surrounding communities to wear your Toronto Raptors jersey and stop by the Riverwalk Commons to watch history-in-the-making, as the Raptors are closer to becoming NBA champions.”

The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario. The Raptors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a member club of the league's Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. The team was founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada. Currently, the Toronto Raptors are in the NBA finals. The Town of Newmarket is proud to take part in live screening of their games.
