More than 5,000 residents are reporting a power outage amidst stormy weather in the region.
NT Power reported the outage around 5 p.m. The utility provider said it is impacting the areas of Yonge Street to Highway 404 and St. John’s Sideroad North to Green Lane. Its outage map showed 5,224 customers were affected.
Several residents reported power outages on social media.
The utility provider said more updates will be posted to social media, along with outage maps, as the situation evolves. It said crews have been dispatched.
