McDonald’s Canada has recognized Aileen Faye Melo, manager of the McDonald’s restaurant in Newmarket at Yonge Street and Dawson Manor Boulevard, as one of the top five per cent of managers across the country with a 2024 Outstanding Manager of the Year award.
Melo works diligently beside her crew members each day to serve quality food with excellent service and a warm smile to restaurant guests across Newmarket, a McDonald’s Canada news release stated.
Melo started working for McDonald’s 17 years ago in Toronto as crew and worked her way up to restaurant manager in 2015. Melo has worked in restaurants in Toronto and across Newmarket, learning skills to become one of the top managers in Canada.
“I am honoured and humbled to receive this award, I appreciate the recognition for the hard work my team and I have put into our role,” said Melo. “I am so grateful for my amazing team who have been the key to achieving our store’s goals and serving our spectacular community.”
Every year, McDonald's franchisees and regional management nominate restaurant managers across the country for the Outstanding Manager of the Year award to recognize their hard work, dedication and commitment to McDonald's Canada and its customers.
