For the first time in Canadian lottery history, the jackpot for next Tuesday’s Sept. 17 Lotto Max draw will be a record-breaking $80 million.

The Lotto Max jackpot has now reached an eye-popping $80 million because the jackpot cap was recently increased to allow for this new maximum value, according to a OLG news release. And in addition to the jackpot, there are also an estimated 18 Maxmillions prizes up for grabs for the next draw.

As anticipation grows for the first-ever $80-million Lotto Max jackpot, there were some life-changing prizes won across the province following last night’s massive draw:

  • One Maxmillions ticket worth $1 million was sold in Ottawa
  • Two (2) Lotto Max second prizes tickets each worth $285,447.40 were sold in Milton and Northumberland County
  • Four (4) Encore tickets each worth $100,000 were sold in: Timiskaming/Cochrane; Simcoe County; London; and Unionville.

Check your tickets as soon as possible on the OLG App or at a retailer.

Customers can buy their tickets for the first-ever $80 million Lotto Max jackpot plus an estimated 18 Maxmillions at OLG.ca or at authorized OLG retailers until 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday Sept. 17.

One hundred per cent of OLG’s profits are invested in Ontario, so when you play Lotto Max, you are playing for Ontario.
