Neil Carter, of Keswick, won $357,982.50 in the Oct. 5 Lottario draw.

A Keswick retiree was in “pure disbelief” after winning big in the Oct. 5 Lottario draw.

Neil Carter, a father of three, was at home when he checked his ticket on the OLG app, which showed he’d won $357,982.50.

“I must have scanned my ticket seven times to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. I was in pure disbelief,” he said in an OLG news release. “I shared the news with close family, and everyone was beyond thrilled for me.”

It was his biggest lottery win yet, but not his first. Eight years ago, he won $15,000 on an Instant Scrabble ticket.

Carter plans to share his winnings with his children and grandchildren and to save for a new home.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pinky’s Variety on Woodbine Avenue in Keswick.
