NewmarketToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre, brings you Adopt Me, a regular feature highlighting special pets in need of adoption.
Hop on over to the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education and Animal Centre in Stouffville to check out the seven-week-old American-mix rabbits available to adopt.
In June, the Provincial Education and Animal Centre received a litter of four baby rabbits. Two of the rabbits have gone to loving homes, but there are still two female baby bunnies, Astrid and Venus, looking for their forever homes.
Did you know that rabbits are social pets and love being around other bunnies? Taking after their ancestors in the wild, rabbits prefer companionship. They keep watch over each other for predators, eat together and even groom each other. Not only do they enjoy other bun friends, but they love to be around humans, too.
If you’ve never had a rabbit in your family, visit here to learn more about rabbit care.
Are you ready for some-bunny to love?
Once old enough, Astrid and Venus will be spayed, and will be up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption.
