In your article, you note that Mayor John Taylor and the council have shelved the decision to make December Christian Heritage Month.

Apparently some argue that if the Christian faith is recognized, then it will be raised above other faiths. Do they know that the Sikh, Hindu, Jewish and Islamic faiths are all recognized with a Heritage Month?

If they are not being raised above other faiths, then what is the argument against Christianity?
