Six people have been arrested as part of an investigation into residential break-ins across York Region.

On Oct. 18 at about 9:50 a.m., four suspects committed a break and enter in the area of Pine Valley Drive and Highway 7 in Vaughan, York Regional Police said in a news release. The same suspects then broke into a home in the area of Langstaff Road and Valeria Boulevard. At about 12:40 p.m., police arrested four people.

Five search warrants were executed and two more suspects were arrested. Police seized clothing, jewelry and other valuables. Investigators with the York Regional Police integrated property crime task force have linked the accused to 15 break-ins so far as part of Project Black and Blue.

Because of the amount of property recovered, police believe there are other victims who have not yet come forward.

A Dropbox folder has been created with images of the items that have not yet been claimed. Police ask anyone who was a victim of a residential break-in between May and October to look at the photos and contact police if any of the items are theirs.

Images of the stolen property can be found here.

Three Toronto residents and three Vaughan residents have been charged.
