Police hope to identify suspects captured on video

York Regional Police investigators are seeking two suspects and appealing for witnesses after shots were fired at a business in Markham early yesterday.

An officer conducting mobile patrol in the area of Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue heard what sounded like gunshots Oct. 30 shortly before 2 a.m., a police news release said. Through investigation, it was determined a commercial premise in the area had been shot at multiple times. There were no injuries.

Two suspects walked up to the front doors of the premise, brandished firearms and fired multiple times. They fled on foot to a waiting vehicle, described as a white sport utility vehicle, which was last seen travelling southbound on Woodbine.

The first suspect is described as male, wearing a black face covering, black hooded sweater with a white Puma logo on the front, black jogger-style pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as male, wearing a white face covering, black jacket, black hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.
