School bus driver charged in collision that killed child in June

A woman has been charged in relation to a fatal collision in June involving a child and a school bus in Vaughan.

On June 19 at about 7:55 a.m., emergency crews responded to a report of a child struck by a school bus in the area of Kleinburg Summit Way and Pierre Berton Boulevard. A six-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the bus remained at the scene.

On Tuesday, a 65-year-old Vaughan woman was charged with dangerous operation causing death. Police have not released her name.
