An employee of a store in Hillcrest Mall was inappropriately touched by a man who had reportedly sexually assaulted another employee at the mall a month earlier, police said.
On Jan. 8, a female employee of the Sage store at the Richmond Hill mall was approached and inappropriately touched by a man at about 11:45 a.m., according to Crime Stoppers York Region.
The same suspect had been reported for sexually assaulting a female employee at the Bobby Brown store on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m, police said.
Video from the second sexual assault shows the suspect in the store and again in the corridors of the mall.
He is described as a black male, aged 25 to 30, with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark Russian "ushanka" winter hat with brown fur, a black coat, and light-coloured pants. He was carrying a black backpack.
