Suspect arrested following 2 indecent acts in Richmond Hill

The York Regional Police High Risk Offender Unit is seeking additional witnesses following two indecent acts that occurred in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, officers were called to the Richmond Heights Plaza, located at 10520 Yonge St., south of Elgin Mills Road West, for a report of an indecent act. When officers arrived, they were told just before noon a male suspect was seen exposing himself.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, a similar incident occurred in the area of Trayborn Drive, which is in close proximity to Richmond Heights Plaza.

A suspect has been arrested by investigators with the High Risk Offender Unit and it is believed that he is responsible for both incidents. Investigators are appealing to anyone who witnessed either of the incidents or anyone with information to please come forward.
