The two teens arrested last week in relation to rock-throwing incidents in Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville are facing additional charges.
On Jan. 28, police charged a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old male, both of Markham, in connection to the incidents that date back to July.
On Wednesday, the 17-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon and 18 counts of mischief under $5,000, while the 18-year-old was charged with 13 counts of mischief under $5,000.
Five of the mischief counts and the assault with a weapon charge against the 17-year-old male are from incidents in 2024. The remainder are in relation to incidents that happened Jan. 26.
The 13 mischief charges against the 18-year-old are in relation to incidents on Jan. 26.
