The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of a breach of their statutory release.
Police said Leslie Kurucz is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area.
Kurucz is described as a Caucasian male, 52, 5'8" tall and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, the Ontario Provincial Police said in a release.
Kurucz is serving a two years and nine months sentence for:
- Assault Peace Officer
- Assault with intent to resist arrest
- Mischief Over $5,000
- Break and Enter
