A pedestrian is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle Thursday in Markham.
Emergency crews responded at 5:49 p.m. to the area of Kennedy Road and Denison Street, where a black Honda Civic northbound on Kennedy Road had struck a pedestrian who was crossing from west to east.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a trauma centre, where they remain in life-threatening condition.
The driver remained on the scene. No charges have yet been laid.
