UPDATE, July 10: York Regional Police has identified the driver of the Audi Q5, who was pronounced deceased in hospital, as an 80-year-old man from Brampton. The female passenger, a 70-year-old woman from Pickering, remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the female pedestrian who died at the scene can't be confirmed until a post-mortem examination has been completed, police said.
Police continue to seek witnesses to the collision.

Two people are dead following a collision at a parking deck in Vaughan this afternoon.
A female pedestrian and the man who drove the vehicle off the second-story of the parking structure at 9131 Keele St. both died, according to York Regional Police.
Police are investigating why the vehicle drove across the parking lot, struck the pedestrian, and crashed through a fence at the plaza on Keele south of Rutherford Road at about 1:20 p.m.
The driver of the white Audi Q5 was without vital signs and was transported to a hospital, where he later died, police say.
A female passenger was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision, are being asked to please come forward. Police investigators wish to speak to anyone who saw either of the vehicles or has information on driving behaviors prior to the collision.
