A 54-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle in King Tuesday morning.
York Regional Police previously closed 17th Sideroad between 10th Concession and Highway 27 for the collision investigation on Aug. 20 at about 8:20 a.m.
The pedestrian was found by police with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The involved vehicle remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, and to anyone who may have dashcam video or any other footage of the area around the time of the collision, to please come forward. Video can be uploaded online.
