Two suspects, one with a switchblade, forced their way into a Markham home Thursday demanding to be told the location of a safe.
The victim called police Nov. 28 shortly before 7:30 p.m. after the suspects had fled the residence in the area of Daffodil Avenue and Poinsettia Drive in Thornhill.
The suspects had been unable to restrain the victims, York Regional Police said in a news release. There were no injuries.
Suspect #1:
• Male, white
• 40 to 50 years
• Approximately 5’8”
• Dark, short hair, dark eyes and a tan complexion, possible beard
• Wearing what appeared to be a scarf covering his face, black pants, black boots and black gloves
Suspect #2:
• Male, white
• 30 to 40 years
• Approximately 5’10”
• Wearing all black clothing, black gloves and armed with a switchblade
