Police seized this loaded gun Tuesday in Vaughan from a man who has a lifetime firearms prohibition.

A man with a lifetime firearms prohibition was arrested after police seized a loaded gun Tuesday in Vaughan.

In July, the man was granted bail for numerous charges, including failing to comply with his previous bail, York Regional Police said in a news release.

On Tuesday at about 1 p.m., he was arrested in the area of Highway 7 and Ansley Grove Road for failing to comply with a release order. Police said a loaded gun with an extended magazine was seized, police said.

Gaddiel Ledinek, 29, of Toronto has been charged with failing to comply with a release order (10 counts), unauthorized possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, possession of a prohibited device (two counts), unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and breach of a prohibition order (two counts).
