A man was killed Monday after being struck by a vehicle while pushing his vehicle out of a snowbank in Markham.
At about 2:50 p.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Reesor and Elgin Mills roads, where a man had been hit while outside of his vehicle pushing it out of a snow bank.
Despite life-saving efforts, the 78-year-old Toronto man died at the scene.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage of the area around the time of the collision is asked to come forward. Video can be uploaded here.
