An armed man fled on foot with cash after robbing a store earlier this month in Stouffville.
York Regional Police has released images of a suspect who entered the store, threatened the victim with a weapon and demanded cash on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at about 2 a.m. in the area of Highway 48 and Norman Jones Place.
The victim turned over a quantity of cash and the suspect then fled northbound on foot, police said in a news release.
The suspect is described as male, white, approximately six feet two inches in height, with a slim build, clean shaven with a moustache. He was seen wearing a navy blue and red toque, a black jacket, black pants and white running shoes. The suspect was heard speaking with a lisp.
