Current details:
Significant snowfall late Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
What:
Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour.
Poor visibility in heavy snow.
When:
Beginning late Wednesday afternoon and ending through Thursday morning. The heaviest snow is expected to fall Wednesday night.
Additional Information:
Snow, at times heavy, will begin late Wednesday afternoon. Total amounts of up to 25 cm are possible. This snowfall will impact the Wednesday evening commute. Snow may become mixed with ice pellets early Thursday morning over some areas. Snow will gradually taper off through Thursday morning.
Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
