Newmarket and area residents came out in force to enjoy skating and performers as the town kicked off its Frozen Friday event series at the Riverwalk Commons Dec. 3.
Mayor John Taylor was on hand to officially launch the town's annual December festivities downtown. The town put on a display of LED trees, with buskers also periodically performing. Residents could also enjoy the skating rink, a holiday train ride and free hot chocolate.
Frozen Fridays will run every week in December from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Riverwalk Commons.
