A portion of Kennedy Road will be closed north of Vandorf Sideroad in Whitchurch-Stouffville from Saturday, July 8 at 7 a.m. to Wednesday, July 19 at 7 p.m.
The road closure is necessary to replace a culvert and ensure the safety of travellers and workers, according to a Regional Municipality of York news release.
Access to properties on Kennedy between Vandorf and Aurora Road will be available from Aurora Road only.
"As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. York Region will provide advance notice when possible," the release stated.
