Newmarket Public Library wants your input to grasp how it should improve and add to its services.

The library is working with Evenings and Weekends Consulting to offer an online survey, asking locals about their experience with library programs and services.

“Your feedback will help us understand the strengths and challenges of NPL's current programming and services and how to improve future services for the community of Newmarket,” the Newmarket Public Library said.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to finish, according to the library, with an option to skip any question. It asks questions such as convenient times to access the library, how the library could enhance its services, and how you would rate various aspects of the library.

The information is kept anonymous, with the data to be aggregated afterwards. The survey said it seeks to understand “what progressing and services can be improved or introduced to best serve the diverse community of Newmarket.”

“We want our programs and services to be relevant and engaging, and hearing from the community is important in determining what to offer,” the library said on social media.

The library underwent a rebrand earlier this year, part of a new strategic plan introduced in 2022. The library has focused on modernizing to offer more services beyond book lending and offering more outside its main building in downtown Newmarket.
