Ajibola Williams of Kleinburg is celebrating a $100,000 lottery windfall, on the heels of a $50,000 win four years ago.
He matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Sept. 28, 2024 Lottario draw to win. In 2020, the father of two won $50,000 with Ontario 49.
“I checked my ticket on the OLG app and saw that I had won $100,000. At first glance, I thought it was $100, so I checked it again to be sure,” Williams recalled, while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was so happy to discover that I had won $100,000, as were my friends when I shared the good news.”
“When you win, you’re elated. I’m happy to be experiencing this feeling again,” he smiled.
Ajibola has yet to decide what he will do with his windfall.
Williams, who is self-employed, has been a regular lottery player with OLG for about 15 years. In addition to Lottario, he enjoys playing Ontario 49 and always makes sure to add Encore to his tickets.
The winning ticket was purchased at Pine Grove Convenience on Islington Avenue in Woodbridge.
