Here's where to get vaccinated in Newmarket and York Region Nov. 9-16

A number of pop-up vaccination clinics are being held across York Region this week if you are looking to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

On Thursday, Nov. 11, Keswick Presbyterian Church at 23449 Woodbine Ave. in Georgina is hosting a clinic from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

That same day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., a clinic is being held at SmartCentres Aurora North at 135 First Commerce Dr. 

SmartCentres Thornhill, at 700 Centre St. in Vaughan, will also be holding a vaccine clinic Monday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Then on Tuesday, Nov. 16, SmartCentres Richmond Hill at 1070 Major Mackenzie Dr. will be the site of a pop-up clinic from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Also on Nov. 16, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 356 Sutton at 21 East St. in Georgina will hold a clinic from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

The pop-up clinics are open to walk-ins for first or second doses of the vaccine. Both Pfizer and Moderna are available. 

The community clinic in Newmarket at the York Region Administrative Centre at 17250 Yonge St. is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. 

The clinic at the Georgina Ice Palace at 90 Wexford Dr. is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and Saturday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. 

In Vaughan, there’s a community clinic at the Maple Community Centre at 10190 Keele St. from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. 

The clinic at the Richvale Community Centre at 160 Avenue Rd. in Richmond Hill is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. 

The Armadale Community Centre at 2401 Denison St. in Markham is open from 9:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

The community clinics accept walk-ins or you can make an appointment on the York Region website

They have both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines available for first or second doses.
