The Central York Chamber of Commerce recognized 11 organizations and individuals for their business acumen at its 2024 Business Excellence Awards Sept. 26.
The annualized awards celebrate business achievements throughout the community. Winners included Fair Chance Learning as Small Business of the Year, Dentec Safety Specialists as Large Business of the Year and Mindful OT as the New Business of the Year.
Central York Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Chris Emanuel said the awards “are a testament to the strength and resilience of Central York businesses.”
“Their commitment to excellence not only enhances our economy but also inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs,” Emanuel said. “We celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing their continued impact in our community.”
This is the first year of the awards since the merger of the Newmarket and East Gwillimbury chambers of commerce in early 2024. Both chambers previously had their own business awards for their communities.
