Winter weather travel advisory in effect.
Hazards:
Local snowfall accumulations up to 5 cm.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow at times.
Timing:
Late this afternoon into this evening.
Discussion:
Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will move south into the area late this afternoon before exiting the area later this evening.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
