The convenience of online voting doesn't appear to have boosted voter turnout during advance voting — today marks the last day — before tomorrow's Oct. 22 municipal election day.
As of yesterday, total votes tallied were 9,756, or 17.7 per cent of the town's 54,989 eligible voters.
Saturday, Oct. 13 was the kickoff for 10 days of online and telephone voting.
You can vote over the internet or by telephone until 8 p.m. tomorrow, using your unique personal identification number (PIN) that you should have received by mail.
If you haven’t received your PIN or haven’t yet registered to vote, you have until official voting day tomorrow to do so. Visit the Town election’s website for more details here.

- Should councillors be required to provide more fully itemized and detailed expense reports, accessible online at no cost to the public?
