Carrot Fest started more than 20 years ago and has been named a Top 100 Festival and Event in Ontario for over a decade. The event celebrates the importance of the Holland Marsh soils, with a focus on the importance of carrots in the local economy. The Holland Marsh Growers’ Association will be handing out free bags of locally grown carrots.

“For over a decade Carrot Fest has been voted as one of the top 100 events in Ontario, and I am so proud to see it continue to leave its mark in BWG. Bring your family and friends along to join us in celebrating our town’s rich agricultural heritage while immersing yourself in all the family fun that Carrot Fest has to offer,” said Mayor James Leduc in a news release.
