Neighbourhood Network is shining a light on students who are involved in their community through volunteering with its annual cash prize award.
The Give Back Awards are a $1,000 prize awarded each year to 20 graduating students from high schools in Aurora, Georgina, King Township, Newmarket, and Whitchurch-Stouffville.
The awards are presented to students who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to community involvement, a Neighbourhood Network news release stated.
“The Give Back Awards shine a light on students who are making a real impact through volunteerism,” said Erin Cerenzia, manager, community relations. “We encourage all eligible students to apply and share their stories of giving back. Their dedication and efforts help strengthen our communities, and we’re excited to recognize and celebrate their contributions.”
Applications are open until 4 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 and are available at www.nnetwork.org/GBA. Winners will be announced during National Volunteer Week.
