The Tee Off for Hospice 2022 is returning to Pheasant Run Golf Club on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 in support of Margaret Bahen Hospice and Doane House Hospice!
We are excited to be returning to a fully in-person format with a shotgun start at 12:30PM. Golfers will be able to join together for a fun day of golf on the green!

In addition to the 18-hole round of golf with power cart, we are offering a complimentary BBQ lunch before the golfing starts, and a post-golf reception where golfers will have a chance to mingle, take part in a complimentary wine tasting, bid on silent auction items, and participate in a 50/50 raffle! There will be lots of exciting on-course contests like two hole-in-one contests, a putting contest, and a Beat the Pro contest!
Our Tee Off for Hospice annual golf tournament raises essential funds for our two Hospices that serve York Region residents throughout the year.
We are fortunate to receive government funding for our clinical care team and medical supplies, however that funding doesn’t cover all of our costs, which means we need to raise approximately $850,000 each year to ensure our Hospices meet the needs of our community. Tee off for Hospice is a key component to our fundraising success each year and we are thankful to event supporters and sponsors who participate year after year.
Doane House Hospice has been supporting those with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Newmarket, Aurora and Bradford for over 30 years, and for the past 5 years, Margaret Bahen Hospice has been a home away from home for residents in need of residential end-of-life care. We rely on the amazing support from the community to continue providing the essential programs and services to York Region community members during life’s most challenging times.
