Dancing with Easter Seals Stars promises to be an elegant evening filled with delicious food, drink, and amazing entertainment…all raising funds for Easter Seals, to help kids with physical disabilities reach their dreams.
The Royal Venetian Mansion in Aurora will be the scene of this glamorous event. The night will kick off with cocktails and fabulous hors d’oeuvres, followed by an incredible dinner and then, the celebrity dance competition!
Local celebrity businesspeople will be paired with professional dancers from Artistica Ballroom Dance Studio in a Dancing with the Stars-like event that will be as exciting and enjoyable as the real thing. Attendees and those at home will have a chance to vote for their favourite couple as they all advance to the finals, when celebrity judges will decide who is to be crowned “Favourite Dance Couple”.
The local celebrities who are putting on their dancing shoes for this special event include Debora Kelly, Paulo Da Silva, Mae Khamissa, Myles Doak, Joanne Russo, Marco Di Girolamo, Shani Whittle, and Joe Cappiello. Come out and vote for your favourite, or donate at home and win a chance to vote as well.
Easter Seals spokesperson Andrea Peterson said, “This event is such a truly fun, exciting and inspiring event. It is not a typical fundraiser, it doesn't feel like a fundraiser, it is a FUN-raiser! You will get swept up by the music and the dancing, then feel like you want to hit the floor yourself! All while you are learning about Easter Seals kids and their families.”
This annual event is happening October 10, starting at 5:30 p.m., at the Royal Venetian Mansion in Aurora.
