For the 10th year in a row, York Regional Police has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2025, a designation that recognizes employers who lead their industries with exceptional human resources programs and forward-thinking workplace policies.
Employers are graded on eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project’s inception: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development and community involvement.
“For the last decade, York Regional Police has been honoured to be continually named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers,” said Chief Jim MacSween in a news release. “Ensuring our members have access to career-boosting professional development and advancement opportunities are the top priorities at YRP, as is ensuring members are supported with outstanding training and wellness programs.”
