'Where's the money?' Video shows police response to Vaughan home invasion

Ford F-150 believed to be connected to Dec. 23, 2024 incident

Police have identified a vehicle of interest in connection with an armed home invasion last year in Vaughan.

On Dec. 24, shortly before 2 a.m., York Regional Police responded to a report of a home invasion in progress at a residence in the area of Forest Drive and Harmonia Crescent. Three masked suspects forced their way into the home and assaulted the occupants at gunpoint while demanding money.

Officers encountered three suspects. One officer discharged a firearm numerous times. One suspect was arrested and two fled the scene. A loaded firearm was dropped by one of the suspects and it was seized by police. No one was seriously injured.

The two suspects who fled were charged. Two additional suspects were identified and have also been charged. Five suspects face a combined 37 charges. More information can be found here.

A grey Ford F-150 was in the area at the time of the incident, and police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information about the vehicle to come forward.
