The federal Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canadawide warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.
Hamza Ali is described as a Black male, 24, 6 feet 3 inches (191 cm), 211 pounds (96 kg) with black hair and brown eyes.
He is currently serving a three-year and five-month sentence for offences including: assault causing bodily harm (x2), assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from peace officer, possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The offender is known to frequent areas in Greater Toronto, Kitchener/Waterloo and Quinte West.
